- 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/2 tsp)
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 eggs (room temperature)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter (almost 5 tbsp)
- 13 oz. date filling (Baking, see notes for a homemade version)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. rosewater (optional, but it makes it more delicious)
