Great recipe!! I increased the topping & dates by about 25% - just because of what I had - OMG! These turned out wonderfully as 2" thick ooey-gooey goodness date squares (actually a round - I had to use a 12" aluminum cake pan)! Oh, next time I WILL NOT FORGET the parchment paper lining in the pan to lift the 'date round' out.
