- 2 cups butter beans (or, one 15oz can great northern, rinsed-I used great northern)
- 2 cups pork and beans (one 15 oz can, I poured some of the juice off)
- 1/2 lb. bacon (crisped and broken into pieces)
- 1 onion (small, chopped-mine was smaller than a baseball)
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
