- 1 Tbsp. garlic (minced)
- 1 onion (medium, diced)
- 2 tomato (medium, diced)
- 3 cups water (for cooking)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (optional)
- cilantro (to garnish, optional)
- 1 tsp. red chili powder (Kashmiri, adjust quantity if using other chili powder)
- 1/2 tsp. Garam Masala
- 1 tsp. coriander powder
- 1 tsp. salt (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup brown rice (rinsed)

A little light on the flavor. My boyfriend added MSG and enjoyed it more.
Note: I used cumin powder and ginger powder due to lack of proper ingredients, might have been the missing punch?
