- 1 whole chicken (medium size, cleaned and cut into 2x2 inch pieces)
- 1 yellow onion (peeled and cut into chunks)
- 1 large carrot (peeled and cut into chunks)
- 3 potatoes (peeled and cut into chunks)
- 1 green chili (sliced)
- 1 red chili (sliced)
- 2 stalks spring onions (chopped)
- 1/2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp. ginger juice (grate fresh ginger and squeeze to get juice)
- 2 Tbsp. light soya sauce (I used only 1½ tbs)
- 2 Tbsp. Korean red pepper paste (Gochujang)
- 1 Tbsp. red chili powder (Korean, Gochugaru, use 2 tbs if prefer the dish to be very spicy)
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
