    This turned out great my boyfriend and I really enjoyed it. I substituted the lentils for a can of chickpeas. Followed all the same instructions.

    Tasty🍴, will make it again. I used barley instead of rice. I will eat as my main meal and serve to my peeps as a side dish🥘

    For those people used to metric units, I’ve done the maths and worked out that two US cups of cooked rice is approximately 135g uncooked rice.

    I didn’t realize it called for canned lentils I used fresh instead. I can see myself making this again several times

    This was my first time ever trying lentils and I must say it was tasty, but I did add garlic and bay leaves because you know New Orleans people. It kind of put me in the mind of Jaimacan rice and beans. Loved it will be adding this to my recipe box to make again. I even used brown rice.

    The best curried rice I ever tasted .. It was just great with some of my added touches, this is definitely something I will consider making again
