This was senstational. I used a generous teaspoon of cumin powder and a teaspoon crushed chilli paste ( because it's what I had on hand), swirling it all in at the end. The cumin/chilli didn't overpower the soup at all, but gave it a bit of extra " something". The soup also works really well if you also add turnips/swedes. It's a " staple".
