While the salami is optional, Don’t leave salami out of this sandwich. The addition of the salami adds a fabulous flavor.
I also use Mayo inside the sandwich on both sides along with yellow mustard.
Try it my way. You won’t be disappointed.

The pork turned out fantastic. Great flavors! I removed the bone prior to cooking the pork shoulder. Used ciabatta buns to make sandwiches. Definitely making this again.
