Absolutely perfect! I did mine in the pressure cooker. I sautéed the Garlic, Onion, and Bell Pepper first, then threw in the beans (that had been soaked overnight) along with the rest of the ingredients. let me tell you, the heavenly smell made us all crazy, it smelled like Versailles in my house at 10am!

The broth was fantastic. The beans however never softened completely. I even soaked them for about 7 hours before cooking. Even after cooking for over an hour, they never softened up.
