Our family loved this recipe; I used leftover turkey and added 2 oz low-fat cream cheese into the mixture along with the shredded cheese. The crunchy onions really add flavor & texture for a tastier result than the usual bread crumbs.

my family loved this recipe. i did alter it some to accommodate diet restrictions.
i used bacon bits instead of parmesan cheese and also cream of chicken soup instead of mushroom soup.
i also added plain bread crumbs on tops which i put under the cheddar cheese topping.
this recipe is easy to tailor to your families tastes.
