    I made this last xmas.. I think I probably added a bit more cheese because hey, why not??? Lol... it was good.. slicing all the potatoes was a pain, but that had more to do w/the slicer my son and DIL had :) I would definitely make again - it's a nice alternative to mashed or baked potatoes.

    We boiled the potatoes, kept some with skins. Cooked one minced clove of garlic with the butter and fresh sage leaves. Poured over the potatoes, added milk, some cream, pepper and salt. Mind the total salt content when using salted butter and the chesse. Mashed away, carefully not overdoing it or the texture can turn chewy. Good flavor. Will repeat.
