- 1Â small yellow onion (diced, or 1 Tbsp onion powder)

- 2Â Tbsp. dried parsley (or oregano)
- 1Â Tbsp. dried basil
- 1/2Â tsp. red pepper flakes (optional more to taste)
- 1Â bay leaf
- 12Â oz. pasta (any kind, I used Pappardelle)
