- 2 cups apple cider
- 1 Tbsp. thyme (fresh chopped)
- 2 Honeycrisp apples (chopped)
- 4 idaho potatoes (large, peeled and quartered, I used Idaho, but you may sub Russet)
- 4 garlic cloves (peeled, I used 4)
- salt
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 8 Tbsp. butter (browned)
- 6 sage leaves (chopped)

This was a good dish because it was edible, and the flavors were enjoyable. But it's nothing to write home about.
