delicious, the roux is a game changer. super easy and great on a cold day, we will be making again.

It totally does have the taste of gumbo! The second day I served this with a mix of black beans, corn, onion, and bell pepper. Topped it with cilantro as well as green onion both days. And it was really delicious too. I think the fresh veggies definitely bring it up a notch. I also used two red onions and red pepper while making this dish.

Easy to do, but is bland. I even started out doubling the spice mix and it was still bland will need to keep tweaking.

Was really good, I used half a tablespoon of Cajun seasoning, next time I'll use a full Tbsp. Tastes like a dish my mom used to make when I was little, but she forgot how she made it. Now I can have something close to it. Will definitely make again!

This was delicious! I ate it with the rice on the side. It was spicy, flavorful and very easy to make. Great recipe.

It was delicious — I’ll definitely make it again. One change I made was that I shredded the chicken before adding the roux. It just didn’t make sense to me to add the roux and then shred the chicken, as it says in the recipe.
