Doesn’t make much sense using crockpot when you have to cook the chicken first anyway. Make it stovetop for better results

This a favorite among my friends. One of the most requested meals when it’s my turn to cook!

Great! I cut my breasts into strips for a quicker and more even cook. I end up slicing them up into bite sized chunks after 2 hours, then return them to the cooker along with the spinach (2 cups for me please!) and let it cook another 30 minutes. I’ve made this before on the stove, but this is so much easier. Also, add garlic and a little salt and pepper!

Chicken was very dry and the Alfredo sauce lacked flavor. I will not make again.

Don’t overcook it! I think I would have given it 5 stars but I put the chicken in for 5 hours at low and it was burnt tasting. Watch your chicken :)

Like other reviewers, I found this heavy and bland. The recipe could easily be cooked on the stove top (half of it is anyway). There is no garlic (Tuscan label and no garlic? )or other aromatics. The Alfredo sauce is so heavy (yes, I know Alfredo sauces are in general but there are many lighter versions with more flavor). Putting in the spinach when recommended resulted in overly cooked spinach. All of this could be cooked (maybe even more quickly) on the stovetop, but to really be a taste treat, the recipe would have to be modified so much, it would no longer be this recipe. I recommend you save your $$ and your time by finding a better approach. Would have rated this zero if that were an option.

The sauce is good but my husband & I felt the overall dish was bland. Doubtful I’ll make again.

Turned out delicious!
I had Half and Half in the fridge, so just used that and added a little cooked bacon to the alfredo sauce. Yum!

Awesome! I had been looking this recipe over for weeks! I’m a huge Alfredo fan and knew I would love this after reading ingredients. I used sun-dried tomatoes but next time I make this I will probably just use cherry tomatoes. My husband works in Italian restaurant so I had fresh grated Parmesan and it turned out amazing! I would probably only use fresh cherry tomatoes next time instead of the jarred sun-dried tomatoes but that’s just my own personal taste buds! My husband is a Very very picky eater especially working in a restaurant but he liked his plate clean and had seconds. I am definitely going to make this part of my monthly rotation. Great recipe great flavor great alternative to just Alfredo. I highly recommend this recipe any day of the week
