I tried to make this jam while I was at work and came home to strawberry soup! I followed the directions and set my crockpot to run on low for 8 hrs. It did not set and tasted terrible. I was hoping for a recipe I could leave cooking while I was at work and then can it when I got home. This is not it! This is not a "fix it and forget it" recipe and needs to be watched closely. I was able to salvage it with blueberries on the stove top but it didn't save me any time. I would not make it again and do not recommend it.
