    I had a ham bone with meat on it left over from Christmas in the freezer and just waiting for the right recipe to use it. I finally used it today in this recipe as we had a late bout of cold weather. It was really good and filled the crockpot. I made the soup just like the recipe directions. Served it with a little cole slaw. Delicious!
