Easy and turned out great! I took the sausage and put on top of the other ingredients in the crockpot and it cooked fine

We subsituted smoked turkey breast for the ham, and it was fantabulous! Definitely will double the sauce quantity next time.

I replaced the ham with chicken, because my wife doesn’t like ham, and I think next time I wouldn’t use clove. Maybe bay leaf

Was delicious! I added a little Cajun seasoning but it was loved by all, (and I’d never attempted jambalaya in my life). I’ll definitely double the recipe next time, or triple it for a covered dish event.

Easy to prep; no pre-cooking the meat. Turns out very flavorful! I didn’t have italian sausage, so I used smoked turkey sausage. Yum!
