Because i bought my first crockpot, I decided to try a recipe and it turned out perfect. The Marinade that I bought was ok, but not what I expected. Next time I am going to learn how to make my own marinade. The rice I was impressed of myself, seeing that I am normally a minute rice user. I used Jasmine rice. The black beans was from a can and it turned the rice purplish, yet I still was excited. Looking for more recipes to try.
