Was in the mood to try something a little different but found this recipe to be so so. The turkey and the sauce needed a lot more flavor. I felt like it was very bland and I threw out the leftovers. Maybe this is a good recipe for people who are beginners or don't cook regularly but I think I will be sticking with my own recipe. I gave it 3 stars because my husband said it wasn't the worst recipe I've made from Yummly LOL

This is my go to receipe for Turkey Meatballs. My one friend who doesn’t eat red meat, begs me to make these for all our gatherings and holidays. I love the marinara sauce because it is simple and delicious. I even make mini meatballs sliders with these using soft brioche buns and add some grated parm or mozzarella on top.

I baked the meat balls separately before adding to the marinara. The marinara was delicious. I added a little more garlic, and also threw in some diced sun dried tomatoes to amp up the tomato goodness.
I divided the meatballs ... Served half of them on mini French breads with pesto mayo. The other half was mixed with grilled zucchini and spaghetti for tomorrow night.
Everything was delicious!
