This was one of the best recipes I have ever had! My husband raved about it. He even had three servings! Adjustments— used 1 leek instead of onions and added a sage/poultry seasoning. I like a bit more broth for chowders so for the liquids—used 1 cup whipping cream/1 cup 1% milk/2 cups water...... Do not use salt—the 2 cups diced ham added enough sodium to this recipe ..... Next time I will add some celery and mushrooms to bring more veggies to the chowder.
