- 1 cup broth (I used chicken since that’s what I have on hand)
- 4 oz. tomato sauce (don’t tell but I used 1 packet boboli pizza sauce since I keep forgetting I have them and need to use them up, but regular tomato sauce should be fine.)
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- 3/4 lb. beef chuck roast (piece of, cut into two pieces)
- 2 Tbsp. flour

- pepper
