I had a whole wild duck maybe that was the problem but this couldn’t have been dryer. It looked petrified after 4 hrs, No juiciness whatsoever.

Super tender. Bext time I’ll add some herbs or a bit of hoisin sauce. It certainly was an easy set it and forget it dish. I put some potatoes and whole (peeled) onions on the bottom of the pot so they
: cook in the duck fat. I discarded the skin after cooking so it was just the nice, tender meat and the vegetables.
