I’ve tried so many crock pot roast recipes and this is by far the best. The roast cooks perfectly and turns out so tender. Plus, the gravy is a delicious bonus.

I made it but used a Dutch Oven instead of the Crock Pot. Either way works as long as it’s slow cooking to soften/moisten the chuck roast. I used A1 as I didn’t have the Worcestshire sauce. I cooked it for 3 hours as I had under 2lbs of roast. Soft & tender and tasty After enjoying a bowl, I sat down to calc my carbs (macros). I was very surprised that my net carbs totaled 29g. That’s very high if you’re on Keto and I didn’t even use potatoes. I’ll have to adjust the recipe to lower my carb intake for future recipe.

A very delicious recipe! Great flavor and the roast was tender and moist. Of course the baby carrots were still a little too firm. Though I cooked the meat alone on high for 1 1/2 hours and then added the vegetables for the remaining 5 hours on normal. Next time they all go in at the beginning or else I will par-boil the carrots and then put them in. Gravy was great -never enough though.

Turned out decent the directions and said it will take 6 hours but on the main page it said 75 minutes. Very bad with timing
