  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or tenderloins, I pre-chopped into smaller pieces)
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce (to make this recipe gluten free we suggest using a gluten free soy sauce such as San-J brand Tamari Organic Gluten-Free Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce.)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 cups jasmine rice (cook when crock is nearly ready on either stove top or in rice cooker.)
  • 2 whole pineapples (You will need a half a pineapple for each person eating.)
  • green onions (sliced, optional as a garnish)
  • sesame seeds (optional as a garnish)

    i put chicken in crock pot, when that was done i made the teriyaki sauce in pot and added chicken, baby corn and water chestnuts and its amazing
