- 2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or tenderloins, I pre-chopped into smaller pieces)
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce (to make this recipe gluten free we suggest using a gluten free soy sauce such as San-J brand Tamari Organic Gluten-Free Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce.)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 cups jasmine rice (cook when crock is nearly ready on either stove top or in rice cooker.)
- 2 whole pineapples (You will need a half a pineapple for each person eating.)
- green onions (sliced, optional as a garnish)
- sesame seeds (optional as a garnish)

i put chicken in crock pot, when that was done i made the teriyaki sauce in pot and added chicken, baby corn and water chestnuts and its amazing
