These were the best fish tacos I had ever made!! I didn’t have cod but used Sole fillets. Much thinner fish so they cooked up real fast and crispy!! Next time I will use cod! Definitely recommend this recipe!

This double batter works really well amd comes out light but crunchy. The sauce is the tricky part as it can go wrong fast but turns out great if you get it right. I did low-fat sour cream and low-fat Mayo to attempt to cut calories and it worked fine

This was a big hit at my house. Left out the cayenne. Used halibut. Definitely in “the rotation” now.

Amazing...followed the recipie as written. Had a lot of left over batter tho. My husband said it was the best fish taco he ever had!

We used tilapia. Turned out pretty good! The fish was nice and crispy, which I love 😊

Great recipe! The tacos turned out perfect! I added a mango salsa to the tacos and they were amazing. I actually used tilapia instead (because that’s what was at hand) and was afraid that it wouldn’t hold when frying, but it actually turned out great and the texture was perfect. Will for sure keep using this recipe in the future.

Umm...UH-MAZING! Made a slaw out of coleslaw mix, lime juice, olive oil, scallions, and cilantro. That with the sauce made this dish for me. Sooo good!

Wowza. Time consuming but so good. I now can really appreciate fish tacos, at a restaurant! Consider using less liquid cus I had to add more flour (but I also used sparkling water, not beer). Put your oil in a deep pot, so not to get splattered oil all over. Used plain yogurt instead of sour cream. Cabbage not necessary. Combo of every
thing, superb!☆

In one word...Fantastic! This is now my go to for anything fish fried. The Panko bread crumbs with the batter was a huge hit! I also seasoned the fish to compliment the batter. I made fish tacos and used a combination of cod and flounder filets. All of it was gobbled up. Thanks for a great recipe!!

This is a really good, crisp and crunchy breading! I went to this recipe today just for the batter because I was deep frying 7oz Cod fillets for dinner. I like the crunchy texture. I found a recipe on Yummly for a mango salsa to pair with it, and voilà!!

Very tasty! Breading was very good. I would use it for other dishes with fish or chicken.

Excellent! Found halibut pieces and ends at a reasonable price at our local fish market. The sauce was excellent. Fresh salsa Fresca with ingredients picked out of the garden, cabbage and avocado put this fish taco over the top. Thank you for the recipe!

I have a few substitution to cut my prep time, like fresh guacamole from the grocery store but other than that were great. I could have increase seasoning to batter by about 1/2.

Made the tacos for my family very unsure if they would like it. It was a huge hit. I used swai fish insread of cod. Flavor was great. My son said this recipe is a keeper!

Was just alright. Will try to make it again. The wife enjoyed it more than I did. However there were leftovers. So I gauge a good meal by the amount of leftovers

Delicious!
I liked the tips about using 2 different hands for batter & panko.

fish turned out fantastic. Changed up the dressing and sides a bit but excellent way to prepare cod.

Excellent ...salted the fish as others have indicated. Added some extra sides and whole family liked it. Was a bit time consuming but taste was worth it. Sauce was nice made a broccoli carrot and red cabbage slaw

Great recipe. Easy to make recipe.
In addition to seasoning the batter, I recommend seasoning the fish as well prior to adding to the batter.
I also decided to make a slaw with the cabbage.
