- 1/4 cup cream (half and half or same amount)
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. fresh ground black pepper (plus more to top, amount to taste)
- 8 oz. cream cheese (block, regular, softened to room temperature)
- 1/2 cup cheese (Mexican shredded 3-, blend)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
- thyme sprigs (fresh or dried, to top, optional)
