- 4 cups chicken stock (or broth)
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- dried parsley (Palmful of)
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. Cajun seasoning (like Slap Ya Mama, or to taste)
- 4 cups long grain rice (uncooked)
- 3 Tbsp. butter (cut into slices, can omit if using dark or mixed chicken)
- 1 lb. raw shrimp (cleaned and deveined)

- chopped parsley (to garnish, optional)

had to add broth because the rice wasn't 100%cooked. I added another 4 cups of broth to soak up.
