Description

Ready in an hour, these turkey steaks are packed with flavor and covered in a creamy port wine mushroom sauce. Requiring just one pan and a stovetop, this is a hearty gluten free meal with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams steaks (turkey)
  • salt
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 5 garlic cloves (sliced)
  • 50 grams margarine
  • 100 grams fresh mushrooms
  • 1 package cream (with mushrooms)
  • 1 cup port wine

    Directions

    1. Season the steaks with a little bit of salt, lemon juice, and garlic cloves. Let stand for 1/2 hour.
    2. Heat a friyng pan with margarine. Fry the steaks on both sides, then remove from pan, and set aside on a serving plate.
    3. After frying all the steaks, add a little bit more of margarine, and the mushrooms to brown.
    4. When mushrooms are soft, add the package of cream. When the cream begins to boil, add the Port wine, and bring to a boil again. Simmer until wine almost completely evaporates. Once the mushroom sauce ready, pour on the steaks, and serve immediately.
