I wanted to use ingredients I had at hand so I combined some leftover creamed spinach, frozen artichokes and the pasta. My spinach dish had most of the same ingredients and I like the fact that I was able to create two quite different dishes with it. I made my own buttered crumb topping as there weren’t any croutons at hand but I did have French fried onion rings.
Although I didn’t really follow the recipe, it gave me the inspiration for a great casserole!
