Turned out great! Much easier than peeling and boiling the potatoes!! I added about 10 smashed fresh garlic cloves to the butter and cream while it simmered a bit. Removed the cloves before adding the liquid to the potatoes. Otherwise made it with 4 pounds if potatoes and followed the recipe as is. Wouldn’t change a thing. Sometime I will try w half and half to see if you can taste a difference.
