I made this vegetarian by subbing veggie chicken strips and veggie broth and cutting out the bacon. It was good but a bit bland (maybe because I didn’t use bacon), so I ended up using a lot more pepper than the recipe specified and adding salt and garlic powder, which weren’t in the recipe.

Decent. Directions a bit hard to follow. Easily overlooked a few steps and did some out of order. But overall good. Added Cajun sausage for spicy bite. I love garlicky food reheated so it will be twice as good the next day

This recipe was delicious, easy to make and a keeper. I will make it again. This recipe lends itself to using whatever ingredients you have on hand. I added mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes to it. I added more garlic because in my opinion there is no such thing as too much garlic. I had about a cup of heavy cream left in the fridge so it replaced some of the milk. Had some fresh parsley, in it went. What I like about this recipe is that it can easily be made on a week day as well as a weekend. It is not labor intensive. I put the leftovers in the freezer and I anticipate that it will make a nice meal in the future. One more thing, I feel it needed more pepper. If you think it is too bland, then the next time, jazz it up with whatever spices you want. Making this recipe your own by tweaking it is time well spent because the basic recipe is very good.

I would make this again! It was so good. My sister is picky about her pasta and she loves it!

Turned out great! I did add some onion and will add fresh tomatos before serving next time!

Tasty! a very filling meal. Would suggest adding some spinach or some greens to balance the cheesy, garlic cream.

This was absolutely delicious! I rarely cook (literally never), but this was super easy to do and super tasty! Lemon at the end really does the trick!

Not a chicken family so I used smoked turkey instead. It was very delicious and I’ll be using the leftovers for lunch at college.

I turned it into a bake but it was so yum & thick, just a bit bland is all, nothing a bit of nutmeg can’t fix

It was meh but I might have messed up. It never really met the “creamy” part. I will probably try it again and see if it was user error.

Very tasty but a bit heavy. The cream sauce took longer than expected. Maybe better as a side dish.

My family loved it but I felt like it was a bit of work for just meh results. Probably not gonna make it again

I always adjust recipes, but this is great!! You can use precooked chicken or dice chicken breasts/tenderloins and cook them in the bacon grease! I love all the garlic! And the kids love it.

add an extra strip or 2 of bacon if you actually want to taste bacon. the sate is there but its subtle. and i suggest fresh making your chicken.
For my chicken:
defrost chicken
cut into one inch cubes
in skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter
add chicken
season chicken however you like
place chicken on a plate and put to the side. then start on the bacon.
