- 1 pinch salt (very small amount - but if using low sodium stock or unsalted butter, ok to use a little more salt)
- 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 10 cloves garlic (sliced in half or finely diced, I like big chunks of garlic but realize most don't)
- 8 oz. cremini mushrooms (stems removed and wiped clean)
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes (depending on your desired spicy level)
- 1/2 cup parsley (diced, optional)
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

I really enjoyed it however, I’d used more red pepper flakes! The cheese clumped pretty bad but overall everything was good.

An excellent recipe, I’ve made it several times since discovering it. I will say though, what Adam said below is absolutely correct. Every time I’ve made this dish, the parmesan clumps together VERY badly. I’ve taken his advice and added the parmesan in AFTER adding the cream, and the problem is completely solved.
I also marinade my chicken in a Greek marinade for extra flavor, and increase the amount of cream, broth, garlic, and parmesan to make extra sauce. 5/5, delicious.

Very tasty. My only complaint is that the cheese when added that early makes the sauce very clumpy. Next time, I will add the cheese at the very end. Otherwise, this recipe is a definite keeper.

The family really enjoyed it. Ive never made a heavy cream sauce and let it thicken. i waited for about 15 minutes then had to put a lil "masa" in it to thicken it up, done almost like a rue, i guess?? the flavor was amazing though!

Really delicious recipe. Followed basically to a T except I used 6 chicken thighs, skin on, and I used beef broth instead of chicken stock. I would definitely recommend this recipe and we I’ll be making it again. Paired it with a side of Brussels sprouts with bacon.

It was delicious I added some grape tomatoes and red onion I overcooked the sauce 😤 but still tasty so be careful not to break the cream

Very good!!!!! My husband doesn't like mushrooms do I used ficed onions and chopped orange pepper. This is a keeper. Can't wait to make with mushrooms. Thanks for sharing.
