Turn out okay it was tasty but I will be adding some veggies to make it a complete meal.

I was nervous because I totally winged it. I used this recipe as a base line and added from there, but OMG it was amazing! My husband ate until he was about sick, I had to take his plate away lol. So this is what I did..I started with 3-10 oz cans of cooked chicken, 1 1/2 cans of cream of chicken, a little less than half a can of cream of broccoli soup and the 1 cup (8 oz) sour cream the recipe calls for. Once mixed together I added a pinch of salt, some paprika, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder and mixed it in. I had a bag of frozen broccoli so I put it on and cooked it until almost done and then seasoned it with some salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, basil and oregano. Added the broccoli in and then as I put the mixture in my casserole dish I noticed I had done a little too much mixing and my casserole looked like a dip(as other reviewers have stated) so I added 2 more cans of cooked chicken and lightly folded it in together so there would be some actual chucks of chicken. I didn’t want my ritz crackers on top to be soggy so I pour the butter over the casserole and then crushed up 2 1/2 sleeves of ritz crackers to top it off. Baked it for about 35 minutes and then let it cool for approximately 5 minutes before serving. I can’t even put into words how delicious this was! My husband begged me to make sure I wrote this recipe down “exactly the way I made it” because everyone in my household loved it. My daughters both ate more than I’ve seen either of them eat in a long time, heck I even went back for seconds. Will definitely make this again (I wrote down the recipe lol 😉)

EXCELLENT! Everyone loved it and we ate it all! Instead of serving *with* broccoli, I put the broccoli right in the casserole. Seasoned the meat with seasoning salt, pepper, and some chipotle seasoning and used cream of chicken soup. Could use ritz or saltines - topped whole thing with parsley (not poppy seeds) and served over egg noodles. I think this could be a very versatile recipe and I’d like to try some of the suggested ideas. Super simple and DEFINITELY making again!

This one was a hit from all directions! The family loved it because it tasted great and the cook loved it because it was simple to make!

This is a recipe I always come back to! Add half a can of mushroom soup and top over rice.

Awesome! I added rice and chicken broth to mine to make it more filling. Needed to cook a little longer. Even the picky eater liked it.

My family really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the buttery crackers but not the entire dish. I added green beans, corn and used a cheddar cheese soup too and doubled. I will make this again and keep altering til I love it.

It didn’t really feel like a casserole but more like a dip I would say but the taste was very good!

We made this tonight, it was alright though my husband enjoyed it (probably because it was drenched in butter). I used Greek yogurt and mushroom soup, I also cooked a batch of mushrooms for the plate then scooped the chicken on top. We both found it rather tasteless, if it was made again I’d start with only using 1/2 the butter.

Fantastic!!!
It’s perfect the way they wrote the recipe I added a few French onions and that was great too

For some reason we have lots of Ritz crackers in the house, so this was a good way to use them up in a recipe. A solid meal, we liked it and will make it again, but does not make it past a number of other yummly recipes in our rankings. The crackers came out well and made for a tasty flavor enhancement. Did not use the optional poppy seeds.

Easy to make meal. But it was a little thin. I recommend adding rice or broccoli to make it more fulling. Will definitely make again!

This recipe was not one of my favorites. Rather flavorless recipe. The topping did not harden but likely because I did not want a whole stick of butter on top. This could be a good recipe with a lot of modifications.

I put corn and chicken stuffing in it and it turned out pretty good, recommend putting uncooked stuffing in the cooked stuffing just got mushy

i made 2 casseroles with this recipe adding a shredded Colby cheese to both. I added corn and green beans to one. They were both absolutely amazing. We'll definitely be making it again soon!

loved it and is definitely on my remake list. Husband thinks it might go well on top of toasted bread

It was good; however, I recommend doubling the recipe as it wasn’t enough for a family of four. I did add more chicken than it called for and some of my own spices to give the chicken some flavor.

It was really great! I added more chicken but that’s just because I have a large family! I’ll be making again!
