Increased the quantities when I made this today for 20 pensioners. They all loved it. Problem was I had none left and they wanted seconds!

This turned out wonderfully! I substituted mrs dash for the spices b/c I didn’t have thyme or rosemary. Still, absolutely fantastic!

I made this soup exactly as written except I used a cup of cooked barley instead of noodles. Noodles would be great also. I love love love it and so does my partner. So much better than any canned soup. I cook up batches of carrot, onion, and celery and freeze it which makes all soup making easy and I don't throw out celery after making a pot of soup.
