Turned out well. Added some paprika and soaked the chipped beef prior to adding to rue. Not as salty, but season to taste. This is one of our favs that Grams use to make. Comfort food!

Reminds me of the old S.O.S. my godmother would give me when is stay at her house across the street. Memories! I agree. Cayenne would have been good and UNSALTED butter is a must; the beef has PLENTY!

This is a great recipe I actually found it after being super annoyed that the Stouffer’s brand was out of stock. Once I learned to cook it I realized how easy it was and yelled at myself. I know there are many options for the dried beef. I used Hormel’s Dried Beef that I found in the tuna section. It was really good but be sure to use unsalted butter. This brand of dried beef has plenty! Sorry Stouffer’s 🙂

So quick and easy! It was great and filling. My family loved it. Would not change a thing. Definitely would make again.
