This cake was awesome! I only changed up the flavoring, followed recipe as written! Moist, tender, buttery, and just the right amount of cream cheese. This is a keeper!

This was my first time baking a cake from scratch. Usually I would do box cake mixture. My cake was moist and not too sweet, it was just right.

It was delicious. Very moist. My husband thought it was too buttery. Either way I will make it again

Loved it. The cream cheese makes it have a creamy texture. Nice addition to my rotation.

Amazing melt in your mouth cake. What I did different:
1. I melted the butter. I used 1 cup of butter and 1/2 cup of butter flavored shortening.
2. I used 2 1/3 cup of flour
3. I added 1 tspn of Almond extract
What i will not do next time is use the Bakers Joy spray on my pan made outside darker ....

I had to adjust since I was a little short on ingredients but it still came out moist and delicious

Very tasty, I will definitely make this cake again. It was a big hit, my family just loved it. I made a cream cheese glaze in stead.

I followed directions, took a lot longer to bake thru. removed the water because cake looked pale.
other than that, it tastes ok.

Turned out great. However, I had to bake for 20 minutes longer. Total time ending at 1 hr 50 minutes.

Turns out AMAZING every time.
I like to use 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp almond extract when I make it.
