So, before I start I have to confess. I have it 3 stars because I replaced the cream of mushroom with cream of chicken and substituted all purpose flour for corn starch.
First time making ever and I'm from New Orleans. As some might imaging with the flour substitution the filling was not as thick as it should have been. It came out like the consistency of like a pot pie. I did not have pie weights( didn't even know that was a thing) but i made it work. overall the taste was good, very flavorful, and the family loved it as well. Will definitely make again.

This was a splendid crawfish pie. The taste was terrific and it was easy to prepare...had most ingredients on hand already. Only had one pound of crawdad tails, so compensated with one pound of shelled, deveined diced shrimp. Still came out delish and was gone in one sitting.

delicious! i used prawns instead of crawfish, and made the mushroom soup myself from scratch. housemates suitably impressed!

it was great and yummy i added a little cayenne pepper, creole seasoning and seafood seasoning also to give it a little kick of flavor.

This dish is amazing.... Husband loved it! I added shredded Parmesan cheese just for even more flavor. I will definitely be making this again soon
