- 1 cup buttermilk (milk or water, warmed)

- 3 large egg yolks (room temperature)
- 4 cups all purpose flour (Bob’s Red Mill, you may need up to ½ cup additional flour to keep it from sticking + dusting your surfaces)
- 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1 tsp. canela
- 1/2 tsp. cardamom
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil (for the bowl)
- 2 cups fresh cranberries (coarsely chopped*)
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup pecans (finely chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cardamom
- 1 tangerine (or orange, zested, about 1 tablespoon)
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tangerine (or orange, if your orange isn’t especially forthcoming, you may need 2 oranges to thin the icing to the correct consistency)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. canela
- 1/2 tsp. cardamom
