Yum! I ommited/added: 2 tbsp app, no salt, mace, hazelnut extract, a handful of chocolate chips (I have tiny baby hands so it was roughly just 1tbsp) and half/half. Oh and also I used what BobsRedMill calls oatmeal cereal (very handy to have for recipes that call for grinding down oats). The batter needed flour (any will do) to make the waffle batter as it was very wet. I’m not entirely sure the egg is needed but I’ll definitely try using the yolk only (maybe add another) to see if I can omit the added flour. Overall this is and incredibly healthy recipe and I loved playing around with it. Thank you.
