- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs (I used egg whites only -- the carton kind)
- 2 Tbsp. milk (I used soy)
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 cups crabapple (roughly chopped, leave the skins on, but remove the core and seeds)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (or other nuts or delete them altogether)
