Description
This recipe is a budget friendly crab quiche, fast and easy to make. It will tame your quiche and seafood cravings in one dish. Pair it with a salad and you have the most delicious meal! (I used 2 x $1.99 Trader Joe's Crab meat).
Ingredients

- 1 pie crust
- 6 stalks green onions (chopped)
- 9 oz. crab meat (or 240g)
- 2 eggs
- 4.5 oz. shredded cheese (or 125g, Gruyère preferably)
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream (or 20cl)
- 1 tsp. chipotle pepper (or Piment d'Espelette, Optional)

Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 ° F/ 200° C. Roll your crust onto a pie dish. I used an 11" Ikea pie mold.
- In a small bowl, mix the crab meat, eggs, cream, cheese and green onions. Season with the peppers and a pinch of salt. The sodium from the cheese and the crab meat should be enough for this dish.
- Spread it evenly onto the crust and bake for about 30 minutes until the cream is set and the quiche is slightly golden brown.
