This recipe reminded me of what my mom prepared when I was a child. Very tender and flavorful! I will definitely keep this one in my file.

I have prepared this recipe twice. The second time, I added a can of Campbell's Tomato soup. It proved to be a good addition. And the longer it simmers, the better it tastes.

This turned out real good and tasted great reheated. Next time I make this I am going to let it simmer longer, probably at least 3 hours.
