  • 1/2 cup ginger ale
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup light molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon-style mustard
  • 2 tablespoons firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2 pounds pork country style ribs (boneless, in serving size pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons Crisco Pure Canola Oil

    Directions

    1. HEAT oven to 375ºF.
    2. COMBINE ginger ale and raisins in large measuring cup or medium bowl. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes. Add ketchup, molasses, mustard and brown sugar. Blend well.
    3. POUR oil in large skillet over medium heat. Place ribs in skillet and brown on all sides, about 5 to 6 minutes. Transfer ribs to 13 x 9-inch or larger baking dish. Pour sauce on top.
    4. BAKE 45 to 50 minutes.
