  • 130 grams sweet potatoes (– steamed and mashed, I used 2 medium sized sweet potatoes)
  • 3 drops food colouring (optional – red and orange are the traditional colours, but feel free to use green or even purple)
  • 200 grams mung beans (green)
  • 2 tablespoons oil (I used canola oil)
  • 150 grams sugar (I used caster sugar)
