- 120 mL hot water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 130 grams sweet potatoes (– steamed and mashed, I used 2 medium sized sweet potatoes)
- 3 drops food colouring (optional – red and orange are the traditional colours, but feel free to use green or even purple)
- 200 grams mung beans (green)
- 2 Tbsp. oil (I used canola oil)
- 150 grams sugar (I used caster sugar)
