  • 1 yellow onion (large, sliced or diced)
  • 12 red potatoes (small red potatoes, use 5-6 medium)
  • 8 carrots (rough chopped, large pieces)
  • 8 celery (ribs, rough chopped, large pieces)
  • 4 parsnips (rough chopped, large pieces)
  • 1 head green cabbage (cut into 8 wedges)
