So, the idea of combining all of these ingredients sounded great to me. However, in practice, there was definitely something missing. The biggest flaw in the recipe was that there was way too much excess fluid from the creamed corn. The second was that the flavor was sort of too...salty and cloying? This recipe needs more. Perhaps some chicken and other vegetables (onion, pepper). To counteract the moisture I’d experiment with using regular corn, draining the corn a little, or maybe adding starch.
