    It’s a less sweet fritter. If you like sweet, use a dusting of powder sugar. I remembered this from my mother. It came from a Pennsylvania Dutch cookbook.

    Tasty!!! This is a great recipe. It's a solid base for a consistent fluffy and crispy fritter-I have done it with sweet corn and "eyeballed" the milk to get a sweet desert fritter. I've also added some jalepeno for a spicy fritter. Great recipe on its own and great to customize and play :)
