These are fortunately not an exact copy of the WC sliders. The real deal sliders have gotten skimpy over the years with the beef and cheese. These sliders have the same great taste but with more meat and cheese. Thank you for sharing this great recipe!!!

Delicious! But they needed to go back into the oven for a few extra minutes. The meat was still raw at first

Turned out great! We have White Castle and I liked these better. I used half the recommended onions though and would cut that amount in half again next time. I used ready made slider buns because the store didn't have the pull apart dinner rolls. I do think the rolls would be better with this recipe though. Nonetheless it passed family inspection. Unless you are really into American cheese, these really don't need it. The steamy bun, onions and pickle really do the same job with less salt and fat. Really good recipe!
