- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (or less, depending on your desired heat level)

I had to add more sugar as it was strangely bitter. Putting chocolate in it kind of put me off

I’m born and bred in Cincinnati and this is Skyline chilli. Bit more of the spices but it turns out perfect.

Good. I just used it as a guideline, mainly for the spice mixture. I used ground turkey, eyeballed the spices, didn’t have allspice. I browned my meat with onions first then added everything to that pan with the meat and onions. Used marinara sauce and only a little paste so I used less liquid (chicken broth instead of water). Only simmered for about half the time, if that.
